2026 Spring/Summer Goalkeeper Training Opportunity

Train Like a Pro – Improve Your Skills!

Sartell Soccer Association is pleased to announce that we will once again be offering spring/summer goalkeeper training led by professional coach Tommy Schmidt, The Goalie Guy! Whether you're a new goalkeeper looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced goalkeeper aiming to refine your technique, these sessions are for you!


Training Details:

  • U13+ sessions will begin on Sunday, April 12 from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Registration is $100 for 10 sessions. These will be held weekly on Sunday evenings.
  • U9-U12 sessions will begin on Sunday, April 26 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Registration is $50 for 5 sessions. These will be held weekly on Sunday evenings.
  • All trainings will take place at the Sartell Middle School soccer fields, "on the hill." 
  • Log in to your PlayMetrics account, click the “Club Programs” tab to register your player. See registration details for a full list of dates.
  • Space is limited to 10 goalkeepers per group; register early to secure your spot.

About Coach Tommy Schmidt

Tommy Schmidt has dedicated his career to developing goalkeepers of all ages and skill levels. He played as a goalkeeper at the collegiate level before entering coaching. For the past four years, he has trained goalkeepers across Central Minnesota, including two who have been part of MYSA state championship teams and several area high school varsity keepers.

Tommy is the current Goalkeeper Coach for the College of St. Benedict’s NCAA D3 soccer team and holds Level 1 & 2 Goalkeeping certifications through United Soccer Coaches, with Level 3 licensing currently in progress. He is the owner of “The Goalie Guy” goalkeeper training.

Summer Rec. Soccer - Registration Now Open Pre-K through 4th grade Designed for beginners and building skill development for players Focus on having fun playing soccer in a supportive environment. Effective immediately, all registrations will now go through PlayMetrics rather than Sports Connect. As you can see, Our new website has also launched and is fully integrated with the PlayMetrics platform. Why PlayMetrics?
