Sartell Soccer Association Annual Meeting

We are excited to invite you to the Sartell Soccer Association's Annual Meeting! This is an excellent opportunity to come together as a community, learn about the past year’s accomplishments, and discuss the exciting plans we have for the year ahead.
This year, we’ll also hold open elections for the following positions within the Sartell Soccer Association. Board members are elected to serve two year terms.
Open Positions:
- President
- The President serves as the chief officer of the Association, overseeing its overall management and operations.
- The role includes presiding over board and membership meetings, signing official documents, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance with all required filings and registrations alongside the Treasurer.
- The President performs additional duties as directed by the Board, and serves as an ex-officio member of all committees.
- Vice President
- The Vice President serves as the primary backup to the President and assumes full presidential authority when the President is absent or unable to perform their duties.
- This role supports organizational leadership by helping ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled or appropriately delegated, overseeing the annual performance review process for employees, independent contractors or volunteers with substantive roles and carrying out additional tasks assigned by the Board.
- Treasurer
- The Treasurer serves as the chief financial officer of the Association, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing deposits and disbursements, and ensuring all expenditures are properly documented.
- The role includes providing regular financial reports to the Board, supporting the budget process, and coordinating required annual filings and registrations.
- The Treasurer also oversees compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Secretary
- The Secretary is responsible for preparing meeting agendas with the President, recording and maintaining official Board minutes, and overseeing the organization’s core records, including governing documents, notices, and required filings.
- This role ensures timely communication of official notices, manages credentialing for membership meetings, and helps coordinate the scheduling of the Annual Membership Meeting. The Secretary also shares responsibility with the President for signing official documents on behalf of the Association when authorized.
- Member At-Large - (5 open positions)
- A Member-at-Large provides general support to the Board by attending board meetings, contributing to discussions, offering perspective on organizational decisions, assisting with projects as needed and sitting on at least one standing committee.
- Seeking expertise in operations management, fundraising and program development.
Coordinators:
- Recreation Coordinator
- The Recreation Director manages the Summer and Fall recreational soccer program, overseeing scheduling, team assignments, volunteer coaches, and communicating with parents and coaches to ensure a positive, inclusive experience for all participants.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for soccer within the community.
- Communications Coordinator
- The Communications Director oversees digital communication, website maintenance, and social media to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with organizational goals.
- The position manages updates to the website, develops and posts content across social platforms, and serves as a primary contact for communication-related needs.
- Additional responsibilities include promoting programs, coordinating communication efforts, and gathering feedback to enhance engagement.
- Equipment Coordinator
- The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and managing all soccer equipment and supplies for both travel and recreational teams.
- Key duties include keeping the equipment shed organized, tracking and restocking inventory, assembling and distributing ball bags, and ensuring equipment is returned in good condition.
- The role also involves attending monthly board meetings to report on equipment needs and volunteering at tryouts, fundraisers, and other soccer events to support program operations.
