2020 Travel Teams

WINTER TRAINING - SUNDAYS THROUGH MARCH

Winter trainings are happening on Sundays through March at St. John’s University on Gagliardi Field in the Skalicky Dome.

In order for all players to maximize winter training opportunities we will be training players by age groups versus by teams.  Training will be conducted by trainers, and coaches are encouraged to attend as they are available.  Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. 

Below is the schedule and the map of the dome divided into thirds, showing what groups will be trained when and where—groups will train for an hour on the following dates and times as outlined on the maps of the dome below.

Winter Training Gear - Player should bring:

  • A Ball (Size 4 for U9-U12 or Size 5 for U13-U19)
  • Plenty of fluids 
  • Be dressed in athletic or soccer attire
  • Cleats (no metal spikes) and use shin guards
  • We suggest that players who wear glasses use a strap, as well as players who require prescription sunglasses
  • Winter training at the dome can get cold, we recommend dressing in layers.

MYSA New League Formation

Please note that Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) has changed their league offerings for the 2019 - 2020 Season; "Black and Blue” leagues are replacing the Classic/C2 and C3, Maroon and Gold leagues. As well as, the “Minnesota League One” is replacing the Classic/C1 leagues.

  • Gold and Classic 3/C3 teams will change to Blue league
  • Maroon and Classic 2/C2 teams will change to to Black league
  • Classic 1/C1 9v9 (11U and 12U) teams transition to Minnesota Futures League
  • Classic 1/C1 11v11 (13U to 19U) teams transition to Minnesota League One
